Today, protective armors produced from ballistic armored fabrics are preferred. Ballistic Helmets

Typically, helmets are intended to provide protection to the soldier in any combat situation. With these requirements in mind, you can try to choose from the three main types of ballistic helmets available today, PASGT, MICH or ACH or ATE (over the ear) helmets.

Ballistic Vests

Steel vest, bulletproof vest or ballistic vest were first invented in 1901 to reduce the effect of bullets from firearms and to protect them from shrapnel that may occur as a result of explosion. Soft vests consist of knitted or layered fibers and protect the wearer from shrapnel fragments of explosives such as knives, small-caliber pistols, double bullets and grenades, depending on the level of ballistic protection.

Plate Carrier Vests

Plate carrier vests are not actually ballistic features on their own, but provide ballistic protection according to the ballistic level of the plate they carry. Ballistic Plates

Ballistic plates are rated regionally with various classifications. They are segmented according to their level of protection according to NIJ standards. In the current position, military units generally prefer minimum Level III+ and Level IV level plates according to the level of protection. When choosing, material is preferred according to cost, weight and protection level.
